The Black Indigenous Men of Color Group is a professionally facilitated virtual support circle dedicated to the mental, emotional, and social well-being of Black, Indigenous, and Men of Color ages 18+. Sponsored by the Wise MindBody Institute, this group provides a safe, confidential space to explore topics such as mental health, masculinity, career challenges, identity, fatherhood, and emotional resilience. Through guided discussions, mindfulness practices, and community-building, participants are empowered to strengthen their inner lives, build supportive connections, and reclaim their narratives. This initiative reflects Wise MindBody Institute’s commitment to culturally responsive care and holistic healing.

Erin Saul, originally from New Orleans Erin moved to Columbus, Ohio in 2011 following a 4 year residence in Fort Lauderdale, FL where he found himself after Hurricane Katrina.
After a few hard years feeling displaced, no friends, little family Erin developed a toxic relationship with alcohol. Leading to a lot of uncertainty, depression and self sabotage. It was not until late 2015 he started a new journey studying radio and media at the Ohio Media School. Erin increased his love for music by learning the skills to be a radio personality and DJ. 4 online radio stations countless DJ gigs, 4 DJ crews and a list of both local and nationally know music artist Erin (known now as DJ Swmpthing) became one of the “who’s who” in local and regional areas.
In 2024 Erin was introduced to a few professionals in the mental health field. These Doctors, Nurses and Therapists help Erin find not only a new calling, but one that was waiting all along. After finally being able to tell his story about his transition to Columbus at his first successful Men's Mental Health Seminar late 2024, Erin created Men’s Mental Health Uncaved. A non profit organization that supports men by building a stronger brotherhood community, council and Mental Health resourcing.
Today MMHU has already reached over 300 men with its monthly Yo, M.E.N (Mental Health, Education and Networking) sessions, virtual conversations and support groups via online and chat groups. MMHU also has a mentorship program, supporting young boys by helping them see that they are never too young to start a mental health journey. This year Erin has also become an author, Creating a kids book, “Beats and breath, Maleeks journey to calm” a journal and working on an E-Book currently.
